INTERNATIONAL ARTIST
Leigh Anne is an award-winning international watercolor artist and professional musician based in Oceanside, San Diego. She is inspired daily by the California coast, spring flowers, cardinals in winter, and simple joys found up close in nature. She enjoys capturing a moment of beauty for canvas or watercolor paper through painting and photographic journaling. She has exhibited her watercolor paintings in Orquevaux and Paris, France; Florence, Italy; Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Temecula, Oceanside and more. She hopes her passion for creating watercolor art inspires you to take a closer look at her Art and share some of the moments she holds dear.
Her haiku entitled, "Paint" summarizes her inspiration and the celebration of love she has for watercolor painting:
"Not enough, enough!
Fresh air, lingering flowers

PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN
An accomplished professional musician and educator with over 50 years experience, Leigh Anne is a classical and jazz pianist and vocalist, coach, published composer, and award-winning conductor/music director. She has an incredible passion for classical music, jazz, and musical theater, but greatly appreciates music of all types. As a performer, she has loved connecting with all her audiences through the years in many performance venues, concert halls, restaurants, private celebrations, and cabarets. Her award-winning conducting and music direction credits have spanned many decades and locations in the US. She treasures those “Aha!” moments that occur for her students, celebrates their unique successes, and believes in cultivating fun and empowering experiences for all ages and levels of learning. A native of Danville, Illinois, she is a graduate of the esteemed Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where she received her degree in Piano Performance. Hobbies and Interests and Fun Facts
Some of Leigh Anne's hobbies include modeling, makeup and skincare, cooking, making jam, baking chocolate chip cookies, sewing, designing fashions, ballroom and disco dancing, fitness, running long distance, and having fun conversations in pig-latin. She drove across France in a stick-shift Fiat while on art residency. Leigh Anne loves french butter, croissants, and speaking French! She loves her dog Bayley, and is grateful to stay connected with family and her many friends around the world through social media!
