Behind The Scenes:  "After school mid-December day in high school, I snuck into the auditorium to play the grand piano in the empty hall. The first song that came to mind was "Away In A Manger." What came through my hands that day was a swingy jazz ballad version of this tender classic. Reflecting on this on a chilly late autumn night in 2019 brought a flood of inspiration for my first Christmas album. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it."

 Behind The Scenes: "A music colleague asked me at a gig one night if I had a CD. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't. But the next morning I sat down at the piano to see what could happen. Two weeks and 14 songs later I had the instrumental songs for Sandbar. A little while later, the songs with lyrics were completed and I booked studio time. It was a wonderful experience with the vocalists, band, and engineer who helped make it all happen. A cherished memory for all time."
